It came packaged very nicely. You have to put it together, but it's really easy to assemble. You've basically just screw the rods together. And you can make it short or long. I left an extra attachment out because I didn't needed to be as long.
The squeegee part is great, it's very versatile. You can use it on your windows. You can use it in your bathroom. You can use it on your regular floors, and you can use it on carpet. Side note when you use it on carpet, You're gonna be really amazed at how well it can get up hair. Because I used it to clean my carpet from cat hair and wow, I had a lot of great results... even after I vacuumed, so I highly recommend this. It's not a requirement to have in your house, but it is a really good help if you are into having a really clean home.
Not only is this squeegee broom super easy to clean silicone, the silicone is flexible enough to get a good grip on the floor even if it's slightly uneven (or in my case, has faux wood grain). The squeegee head is also a one piece design so no shifting! It squeegeed poop, water spills from her bowl, food bits, and some small feathers in one sweep and cleaned beautifully with just water. One final plus is the screw together handle, which makes it customizable from a small handheld, to a good size for 5'4" me, to something long enough that my 6'2" husband can use without hunching over.
And, the squeegee worked very well at cleaning glass. The only con is the squeegee is 16 inches long, so I can't use it for smaller glass windows. But the width is great for regular and larger windows and for the bathroom glass shower doors,
I start by sweeping with a broom and use this for touch ups, vacuum and then I clean the wooden floors with a mop. With three dogs this gets everything easily
